BCFA Freezer Sale

Not every BCFA exhibitor goes home with a new belt buckle and the Grand Champion banner. However, those exhibitors that didn’t make the Junior Livestock Auction are still in luck.

BCFA hosts its annual Freezer Sale for exhibitors who weren’t able to sell their livestock projects. This allows Fair Supporters a chance to bid online and obtain top-quality beef, pork, lamb, goat, rabbit, and poultry for your freezer to enjoy all year long. You pay the total sale price bid at the time of the sale. You will need to designate where you will want the animal processed. Bid price does not include processing.

Payment Information:

The Fair Association will do all purchase billing and collection on all Auction
Items.

Payment is due at conclusion of Auction. Cash, Check or Major Credit Card will be accepted. All credit card transactions will be subject to a 3% convenience fee.

Credit may be extended to previous buyers or to those who make arrangement with the
Fair Office prior to the auction.

With prior approval, the buyer will be sent an invoice,
which will be due and payable upon receipt.

Any invoice not paid within 45 days from date
of invoice, will be subject to a recurring monthly 2.5% interest charge.

Pickup Information

As a buyer, you will have the option of keeping the animal you purchased for
personal consumption or if you do not wish to keep the animal(s) you purchase, please consider donating them to a non-profit organization, such as the Brazoria County Fair Scholarship fund.

Please indicate the name, address and phone number of the charity or group that is to receive the donated animal. The Buyer agrees to pay all processing charges for donated steers, swine, lambs
and goats.

For processing of steers, swine, lambs and goats, the Buyer is responsible for their
choice of processor. Buyer should contact the processor for processing instructions, payment of processing charges and picking up their processed animal in the time allotted by the processor. Once the animal is delivered to the processor in the buyer’s name, processing becomes the liability of the Buyer.

The youth exhibitors are responsible for the processing of rabbits, broilers and turkeys
and making arrangements for the delivery of these animals to the buyer or the donation location indicated by the buyer.

Terms and Conditions:

All animals sell to the highest bidder until the max bid has been reached. No animal sold in the Freezer Sale will be allowed to exceed the lowest price paid in the same animal division in the Jr. Livestock Sale during the current Fair. A notice will be posted designating the highest price (MAX bid) allowed for each animal division. Once MAX bid has been bid, the item will be marked as sold and removed from the auction. Max bid will work like a Buy It Now feature. Unlimited Add-On monies will be allowed on Freezer Sale items. Association will not invoice any amounts below $100.00. Any disputes or questions regarding bids will be settled by the Auctioneer and his decision will be final. All animals will be sold by the head.
